Description

The scope of work is to supply two (and possibly up to five) high reliability 3-phase liquid filled, 60 Hz, Neutral Grounding Transformers (or Zig-Zag Grounding Transformers) (the “Transformer”) that require minimal maintenance and has an extremely long expected service life. Two will be purchased in 2019, the remaining three Transformers if determined to be procured will be purchased in 2020. The five (5) transformers will be purchased through individually issued contracts. The Transformer will be used to provide 3-phase system grounding in SaskPower grid. This is not a dual winding Neutral Grounding Transformer, but SaskPower wants the capability to energize it at either 138 kV or 72 kV and have the nameplate to reflect this.
