This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Tantallon Switching Station to Birtle (Saskatchewan/Manitoba Border) Fibre Optic Cable Ploughing, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

SaskPower is seeking to engage a contractor to provide labour, tools, equipment, and expertise required for Tantallon Switching Station to Manitoba Border new fibre optic cable installation and Tantallon area horizontal directional drilling fibre optical cable relocation work as further described within the RFP.
