Description

The Carbon Capture plant at BD3 generate waste which need to be stored, removed and disposed of from site. This waste consists of various by-products from the processes that make up the clean coal project and each have to be removed at regular intervals, which could vary depending on the waste stream.
The Contractor will supply and install all storage containers, piping and provide waste hauling work as required to remove all waste generated by the carbon capture plant. In addition, the Contractor shall ensure all waste materials removed from the site are treated/handled/disposed appropriately. The Contractor is required to obtain all licenses and permits as required for transportation, treatment and disposal.

There will be an Optional Site Meeting at CCS @ Boundary Dam Power Station on November 9, 2023 @ 10:00 AM Central Standard Time.

Confirmation of the number of attendees is required to be sent to the RFP Contact no later than November 7, 2023, 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. If confirmation of attendance is not received by the RFP Contact on or before this date and time, attendees may not be allowed on site.

PPE is required including CSA approved hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, hard hat, and safety footwear. Confirmed attendees will be advised of any additional requirements they must comply with to access the site.
