Description

This Contract requires work for the refurbishment of the fire hydrant system at Poplar River Power Station (PRPS) to improve the operation of hydrants, post indicator valves and monitor nozzles.

The Contractor shall furnish design, labor, materials and construction equipment to restore the fire hydrant system at PRPS to full operating status in compliance with applicable NFPA standards and all other codes, regulations and laws applicable to the Work, and in compliance with the Specifications.

Requirement
This opportunity is restricted to suppliers who qualify as a New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) Region Supplier.

Health and Safety Risk Rating - High:
SaskPower will only accept proposals from proponents who are registered with ISNetworld;
are connected to SaskPower; have their ISNetworld company profile information available to SaskPower; and have a minimum SaskPower grade of “C--”, and
have a Performance Statistics rating in ISNetworld of satisfactory or above. Any rating below satisfactory will require submission of mitigation plans on the date and time of the submission. The Mitigation Plans forms can be found on www/saskpower.com/contractorsafety. An unacceptable mitigation plan will result in disqualification from this competition.
