Q1: Item "H" 2x 900/1010 lb. Agent Cylinder platform--this is not a standard item that is provided by the equipment manufacture, and would be a custom item. Can you please provide information and drawings so that we can properly determine what this item is that you are requesting, and allow us to correctly estimate costs.
Q2: Item "M" 2x Pressure reducing vent - 2 way - wall mount.
Can you please provide details on the type and sizes of vents that you are requesting.
R1 and R2: To determine a proper build of materials, SNB will allow any interested parties/bidders to come on site and take any measurements required. There are no drawings available for review by vendors.
The Closing Date has changed to March 3, 2020.

SCOPE
INCLUSIONS
This Tender consists of the
supply, delivery and unloading of a Fire Suppression, Detection and Control System for Service New Brunswick as per the itemized Specification below.
EXCLUSIONS
Installation is NOT within the scope of this Tender.
CONTRACT AWARD CRITERIA
A Contract will be awarded to the vendor who submits the lowest total price bid
for ALL Items--1 to 3 inclusive--which meets or exceeds all requirements detailed within the this Tender document.
MANDATORY DELIVERY (PNB Year End)
March 31, 2020 is the Province's Fiscal Year End. Goods/Services that have NOT been received by March 31, 2020 will be returned to the supplier at the vendor's expense.
VENDOR QUESTIONS

inquiries received less than 7 calendar days prior to the closing date cannot be
guaranteed a response. Please reference the Tender number and closing date within your

SUBMITTALS
Vendors must bid on ALL Items--1-3 inclusive--within this Tender. Partial bids

Vendors should include the following with their bid:
i. evidence of certification for the provision of Fire Suppression, Detection and Control Systems
ii. evidence of certification for the installation of Fire Suppression, Detection and Control Systems
iii. product specifications
A Contract will not be awarded until the two aforementioned documents are received by the Issuing Agency.
PRODUCT EQUIVALENCY EVALUATION
Product equivalencies will be evaluated after the closing of the Tender. GNB shall, at its sole discretion, determine whether any product is an equivalent to the named brands within this Tender document.

Where the estimated value of the goods or services to be procured is below
the lowest applicable threshold value of any relevant trade agreement, Service New Brunswick reserves the right to give preferential treatment to a prospective supplier from New Brunswick or the Atlantic Region. Should this right be exercised, the following order of priority will apply: a) firstly, New Brunswick manufacturers if the goods to be procured are manufactured in New Brunswick; b) secondly, New Brunswick vendors; and c) thirdly, Atlantic Suppliers. The preference will be applied based
on the price differential
between the lowest acceptable bid and the bid receiving preferential treatment. Unless otherwise indicated, there shall be no limit on the price differential under which a preference may be applied. The decision to apply a preference will be at the sole discretion of Service New Brunswick.
All discounts quoted will be considered to be without limitations.
Payment of invoices is the responsibility of the department or organization to whom the goods are shipped or services are supplied.
Award of contracts: no contract shall be awarded and no payment shall be made to a vendor unless authorized by the Minister or his delegates. The Minister may make an award to the preferred vendor conditional on the negotiation and acceptance of a detailed contract between the Province and the vendor. In such cases, should the detailed contract negotiations not be completed in a reasonable period of time, the Province reserves the right to discontinue negotiations with the vendor and
subsequently enter into negotiations with the second preferred vendor.
No right or duty, in whole or in part, of the vendor under a contract issued may be assigned or delegated without the prior consent of the Strategic Procurement Branch.
Unless the Strategic Procurement Branch has determined otherwise prior to tender closing, all prices must be extended and totaled.
