RFP WHS-2019-WRP-01 - Furnishings
Please note that the proposal submission date information and written responses information found in Addendums #2 & #3 for the WorkSafeNB RFP WHS 2019 WRP 01 Furnishing have been disseminated directly to qualified proponents on the date referenced on each addenda. Qualified proponents are those who have registered and attended the mandatory site visit on October 11th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m./1300 hrs (AST). Please find below the description of each addenda related to this RFP.
ADDENDUM #3 REVISED SCHEDULE OF EVENTS & RESPONSE TO INQUIRIES
The response to written inquiries, clarifications and revised term are included in Addendum #3. The revised schedule of events is as follows:

ADDENDUM #2 REVISED SCHEDULE OF EVENTS & RESPONSE TO INQUIRIES DEADLINE
The response to clarifications will be provided to qualified proponents no later than 4 p.m./1600 HRS (AST) on October 18, 2019.
The Proposal submission deadline & delivery has been revised to be received on or before 1 p.m. /1300 HRS (AST) on October 24, 2019.
ADDENDUM #1 REVISED SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The mandatory site visit start time has been revised to 1:00 p.m. / 1300 hrs (AST), on the same date, Friday, October 11, 2019. The registration period has been extended to October 10th at 3 p.m. /1500 hrs (AST).
INVITATION
The Work Recovery Program at Workplace Health Safety and Compensation Commission of New Brunswick (WorkSafeNB), a commission established under the Workplace, Health, Safety and Compensation Commission Act and Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal Act, is seeking proposal submissions from prospective suppliers ("proponents) for the acquisition and installation of commercial-grade healthcare furnishings for various client and public areas within the Work Recovery Program, as specified in this
RFP.
This award will be utilized by WorkSafeNB for WorkSafeNB's client furnishing requirements at all leasehold and supplementary locations within the province of New Brunswick, initially for WorkSafeNB's Work Recovery Program located at the WorkSafeNB Rehabilitation Centre, in Saint John, N.B.
The successful proponent will be required to supply and install the furnishings at the WorkSafeNB Work Recovery Program location in Saint John and, where required, at various WorkSafeNB offices including, including on-going service, warranty and maintenance support.
All proposals must be stated in Canadian Funds. Sales taxes should not be included in the unit, extended or total prices. FOB Destination, freight prepaid.
WorkSafeNB wishes to negotiate and establish a contractual relationship with the successful proponent for the provision of these goods and services.

This RFP will be conducted in accordance with the New Brunswick Procurement Act (O.C. 2014-273) and its Regulations 2014-93.
This procurement is subject to the Standard Terms & Conditions for goods and services, as outlined by the Atlantic Provinces Standard Terms & Conditions for Goods and Services and considered incorporated. By submitting a proposal, proponents agree and accept these terms and conditions. Current Atlantic Province Standard Terms and Conditions are available on the New Brunswick Opportunities Network.
For procurements which are not subject to the provisions of one or more of the interprovincial procurement agreements, WorkSafeNB reserves the right to apply Provincial or regional preferences, consider local content in the evaluation of proposals and/or refuse to consider proposals from proponents from other jurisdictions when it is considered to be in the best interests of WorkSafeNB. When determining the use of these conditions, WorkSafeNB will consider, among other factors, the extent to
which New Brunswick proponents have access to equivalent opportunities in those jurisdictions to proposals from New Brunswick proponents. WorkSafeNB will be the sole judge of whether these conditions will be used and to the extent to which they will be applied.

RFP SUBMISSIONS
Sealed RFP submissions for WHS-2019-WRP-01, Furnishings will be received by WorkSafeNB before 1:00 p.m. AST October 22, 2019 at the Saint John office of WorkSafeNB's Rehabilitation Centre.
Proposal submissions must be in a sealed opaque envelope and/or sealed courier envelope clearly marked with the proponent's name, mailing address, and tender initiative number and shall be addressed to the following:
