Description

1.This RFQ is open only to those Prequalified Parties who have received notification from The City prior to Submission Deadline that they are Prequalified for Prime Contractor for Safety status in the following category or categories: Demolition (C7400203).

2.The city is issuing a request for quotation to select a supplier who will be performing the works for the demolition of Art Point, (1038 17th Ave SE), Mustard Seed (104 & 106 11th Ave SW) and Green Leaf (1612 Centre Street NE). These are properties acquired by the City ahead of the Green Line light rail transit project.

3.This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.

4. Prospective proponents who are interested in participating in the RFQ process should email the Contact person to obtain access. Access will be conditional on the prospective proponent signing the City’s Confidentiality Agreement.

Prospective proponents should include the name and email address of up to 3 representatives who are to be given access to the Firmex Data Room.
