Description

The Town of Sidney along with the Victoria Airport Authority, the District of North Saanich and the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (collectively 'the Client') are seeking proposals from qualified consultants to undertake a traffic impact study of the Beacon Avenue West catchment area. The successful proponent will evaluate the effects of regional growth and will recommend mitigation measures to address current and future travel demands

Beacon Avenue West connects parts of North Saanich (DNS), Victoria Airport Authority (VAA), and the west side of Sidney (ToS) to the Patricia Bay Highway (under MoTI jurisdiction). These areas have potential for large commercial and industrial developments, as well as some residential growth. Beacon Avenue also serves as the primary connector between east and west Sidney.

This project and request for proposals will be managed by the Town of Sidney on behalf of the collective Client, and the Town will remain the primary point of contact throughout.
