Description

Island Health is seeking proposals from a community-based provider to continue to provide an Overdose Prevention Site delivered within the British Columbia Overdose Prevention Services Guidelines as well as to provide opioid treatment services through a three-year TiOAT pilot project. Island Health will provide the physician and pharmacy services required to support the program. Island Health will provide the WRC site and it will be located within Duncan/North Cowichan and will be within walking distance of the Trans Canada highway. The WRC will offer OPS and TiOAT services, and Island Health will provide the other wrap-around health care supports to be offered from the WRC, and as well as the ancillary services related to the space, including janitorial, utilities, maintenance, and waste removal services.
