Description

The City is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide support to The City’s Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy (GEDI) in researching and assessing the feasibility of incorporating a “blind hiring” process into its existing recruitment systems. Blind hiring allows for the anonymization of candidate data in terms of gender identifiers such as names and other gender-based information from resumes and applications. The City is looking for information, analysis, and recommendations around blind hiring, including its effectiveness, return on investment, risks, best practices, and available technology solutions that would help reduce bias in the recruitment and hiring process.

This project anticipates the following Phases:
Phase 1 - Best Practices Review and Report; and
Phase 2 - Implementation.
Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement Letter, the award under this RFP will be for all Phases of the Requirements, subject to approval by The City after each Phase.

This RFP is open to all interested vendors.

This procurement process is not intended to create, and will not create, a formal legally binding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
