Addendum #1 (Issued April 17, 2020) - P20-28 Elevator Maintenance
For PROPOSAL SUBMISSION, delete and replace with the following:
PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
1. Proposal submission in pdf format may be forwarded to the City of Fredericton Purchasing Division via email to bids@fredericton.ca with the document number in the subject line. THIS E-MAIL ADDRESS IS FOR BID SUBMISSIONS, AMENDMENTS, AND SIGNED ADDENDUM SUBMISSIONS ONLY. Suppliers should receive an automatic reply confirming receipt of their submission. If the Supplier does not receive the automatic reply, the Purchasing Division should be contacted by telephone. Limit the submission email
size to a maximum of 50 MB or send the bid in multiple pieces. Files that are larger than 50 MB will bounce back. The City shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature whatsoever if an email submission is not received by the City prior to the designated time and date due to malfunctioning equipment, the inability to complete the transmission of a document, or for any other reason.
2. The RFP must be forwarded to the City of Fredericton Purchasing Division, no later than the Closing Date.
3. Suppliers shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submissions in the manner and time prescribed. The City recommends the Suppliers send their submissions well ahead of the Closing Date and get confirmation of receipt. Last hour submissions are not recommended.
4. Submissions must be in English only or in English and French.
This addendum becomes part of the proposed package and must be completed and returned before award.

4. All proposal submissions delivered to the office of the Purchasing Division will be dated. It is the responsibility of the Consultant to ensure that their proposal is in possession of the Purchasing Division and no other City staff member or division on or before the Closing Date defined in this document. A hand delivered proposal shall be deemed to have been received when the envelope has been stamped with the date of receipt by Purchasing Staff.

Quarterly Maintenance is performed on the Dumbwaiter rather than monthly inspections.

INTRODUCTION
The City of Fredericton invites suppliers to provide submissions for Elevator Maintenance services including all parts and labour at the following locations:

12 Carleton Street, Fredericton Public Library One (1) Passenger Elevator
79 Carrington Lane, Fredericton Indoor Pool One (1) Passenger Elevator
1600 St. Mary's Street, Killarney Lake Lodge One (1) Passenger Elevator
605 Cliffe Street, Willie O' Ree Place One (1) Passenger Elevator
600 Knowledge Park Drive, Grant * Harvey Center One (1) Passenger Elevator
Suppliers must be experienced in the installation and maintenance of elevators. All work shall be performed by experienced technicians directly employed, trained and supervised by the supplier making the bid.
All suppliers are welcome to view the premises prior submitting a bid. No extra costs will be considered for failure to view sites.
Staff of the successful supplier must be bonded or capable of being bonded and are subject to security clearance.
The successful supplier shall provide twenty-four (24) hours services, seven (7) days per week.
