Description

Alberta Agriculture and Forestry is responsible for managing wildfires within the Forest Protection Area of Alberta. In order to deliver cost effective wildfire suppression activities, meals and accommodations are provided for firefighting resources at primary and secondary fire bases located throughout Alberta.

The Province operates primary and secondary fire bases and requires a commercial caterer and janitorial services to be provided at each of the fire bases. These bases provide accommodations and meals to resources involved in support of fire firefighting operations throughout the Province.

Primary and secondary fire base locations, access, on-site amenities and equipment, average operational periods, and meals served can be found on the Alberta Purchasing Connection website “Area PowerPoints’ and “Documents” section.

Multiple Contracts will be awarded to the same or different Contractor(s) under the said Request for Proposal 21TDRAFD921.
