Description

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (Regional District) is inviting Tenders for the provision of Four (4) household hazardous (HHW) waste collection events to be held in the City of Merritt, the City of Kamloops, the District of Clearwater and the Village of Cache Creek during the spring/summer of 2020.

The successful proponent will be responsible for accepting and safely handling all HHW including identification, decanting, collection, packaging, storage and transportation from the location and appropriate recycling or disposal of all materials. All equipment, materials, supplies, labor and supervision required to complete the work including Workers Compensation coverage for non-Regional District staff will be the responsibility of the successful proponent. The successful proponent will be required to provide material tracking and documentation that supports the locations of the materials processing and end of life disposal.
