Description

Sealed Tenders, clearly marked as to content, will be received by the Customer Service Desk, Main Floor, at St. Albert Place, 5 St. Anne Street, St. Albert, Alberta T8N 3Z9 up to 14:00:00 hours, local time on Thursday, March 12th, 2020 for the 2020 Sports Fields Rehabilitation Project. The time will be conclusively determined using the National Research Council of Canada Web clock at:

Bidders are advised that there are other events taking place at City Hall and as parking may be at a premium they should allow enough time to find parking when dropping off tenders.
All tender submissions will be evaluated. The results will not be released until a contract has been awarded by the City.
The Work to be undertaken is for three ball diamonds and is generally described as:
obilization/De-mobilization
General Safety Requirements
Demolition, Removals, and Disposals
Earthworks/Grading
Survey
Concrete Flatwork – supply and install
Sport Field Surface Material – supply and install
Sport Field Amenities & Site Furnishings – supply and install Softscaping – supply and install
Landscape Maintenance – CCC to FAC (sod and shale, up to 1-year)

Starting Friday, February 21st, 2020, Tender Documents, Drawings and Addenda (if applicable) may be downloaded from Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC) and from the BuildWorks Canada electronic plan room websites. Please be aware that it is the Bidders responsibility to obtain all addenda from the websites if the original contract documents are obtained from either APC or BuildWorks Canada.
A copy of the Tender Documents and Drawings may be examined (not purchased) at the office of the City of St. Albert (Engineering Services Department, 5 St. Anne Street, St. Albert, AB, 2nd Floor) between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Bidders are completely responsible for ensuring that their bids reach the correct final location prior to the bid submission deadline. Fax, email and other non-hard copy forms of bids or amendments WILL NOT be accepted.
