Filled Sandbags Supply Contract

The Town of Rothesay is seeking a qualified contractor to submit standing offer pricing to supply and deliver filled sandbags to the Rothesay Public Works Depot at 19 Master Drive. The attached agreement shall be completed and submitted to the Town on or before Wednesday March 3, 2020. Failure to properly and completely fill out the attached form will constitute an incomplete tender and the accompanying bid will not be recorded or considered during the evaluation process.

The successful contractor will be required to fill and deliver a maximum of 20,000 sandbags to the Public Works Depot with a maximum of 7 days' notice should river levels necessitate the distribution of sand bags to the community.

The empty sandbags will be supplied by the Town and can be picked up by the successful contractor at the Public Works Depot any time after the award of this supply contract.

The Town reserves the right to Cancel and Not Award this supply contract if the tender prices exceed the Town's expectation. Any decision to cancel this tender will be communicated to all bidders within one week of the tender close date.

A security deposit equal to $2,500 shall be submitted with each tender in the form of a bid bond or certified cheque payable to ROTHESAY.
