Description

Ontario, Canada is seeking the services of an internationally recognized Site Selector to support the delivery and implementation of the “Job Site Challenge” – Canada’s first mega site program!

This Request for Bid is to secure consulting services from an internationally recognized Site Selector with expertise in industrial site selection and developing locational strategies for global corporations, preferably relating to large-scale sites (more than 250 acres).
Scope of Work
The Job Site Challenge is intended to raise Ontario’s jurisdictional competitiveness for new investments in advanced manufacturing and industrial operations. The Program is a key government commitment and a priority for the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade. The ultimate objective of the Program is to secure one or more large-scale investments in manufacturing, leading to good, high-paying jobs for the people of Ontario.

The Province is seeking the consulting services of an internationally recognized Site Selector to support the delivery and implementation of the “Job Site Challenge”.

The Site Selector is required to support the Province in selecting mega sites through a transparent assessment and ranking process, rooted in site selection methodology, and in the marketing and promotion of mega sites selected through the Program – up to a maximum of three.

The Province is relying on the qualifications, experience and international network of the Site Selector to validate and endorse the mega sites, to ensure they reflect the needs of today’s investors and best practices of the site selection industry.
