3.20.097 - Unplanned Gravity Sewer Rehabilitation/Replacement - Master Service Agreement

The Alberta Capital Region Wastewater Commission (ACRWC) provides regional wastewater conveyance and wastewater treatment for 13 member municipalities including: Town of Gibbons, Sturgeon County, City of Beaumont, Town of Bon Accord, City of Fort Saskatchewan, City of Leduc, Leduc County, Town of Morinville, City of St. Albert, City of Spruce Grove, Town of Stony Plain, Strathcona County and Parkland County. A large portion of the ACRWC’s wastewater conveyance system consists of gravity trunk sewers ranging in size from approximately 525 mm to 1,500 mm.

Many of the gravity trunk sewers are concrete and have been subjected to deterioration as a result of hydrogen sulfide induced corrosion. As a result, the ACRWC has previously experienced a need for unplanned repair and maintenance work (“emergency” repairs) on its gravity wastewater trunks. The ACRWC invites submissions (proposals) from interested Proponents. The successful proponent of this competitive process may enter into a Master Service Agreement with the ACRWC for future unplanned gravity sewer rehabilitation and replacement work.
