Description

Vulcan County requests the services of a qualified consultant to undertake the development of an Area Structure Plan. The creation of an ASP will address the current needs of the area and ensure it meets all the legislative requirements, as well as is congruent with Vulcan County’s statutory planning documents and the South Saskatchewan Regional Plan. The consultant will be responsible for facilitating one presentation to Council, and two public open houses. Attendance will be required at the Public Hearing hosted by Vulcan County.
In conjunction with, and based on ASP outcomes, the Consultant will then complete detailed engineering and design for the servicing and development of the area. The engineering and design component will plan the major municipal infrastructure required to service the development. Any technical studies required to identify and mitigate environmental, historical, and biophysical constraints that may impact the development shall be undertaken by the Consultant.
