CAB & CHASSIS TRUCK TENDER


The M.D. of Provost No. 52 is currently accepting tenders on one (1) of the following:

 2020 or 2021 Model Cab and chassis style (F-450/4500 or Equivalent)
 Super Cab
 Oxford white clear coat
 Minimum GVWR 15,000 LBS
 84 inches from back of cab to center of rear axle
 Dual rear wheels
 Traction tires
 19.5” rims
 Turbocharged diesel engine
 Automatic transmission
 “Shift on the fly” electric engage 4x4
 Limited slip rear axle, ratio between 4.10
 Hydraulic disc brakes
 Specification Checklist: listed in Appendix A, attached.

Acceptance of tender will be contingent on availability of the product, and suitability of the product to meet the M.D. requirements as per the specifications and checklist sheet. Failure to complete checklist with submission may invalidate tender.

These factors will be weighted at 40%, with the tendered price weighted at 60%.

Price is to be quoted F.O.B. Provost, and GST is to be included and/or clearly annotated.

Tenders are to be clearly marked “2020 CAB & CHASSIS TRUCK TENDER” and submitted no later than 12:00 noon, Tuesday, March 10th, 2020 and addressed to:

Only hardcopy submissions will be accepted (no faxes or e-mails).

Tenders will be considered by the Council of the M.D. of Provost No. 52 on Thursday, March 12th, 2020 during the course of its regular meeting.

The M.D. reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted or any part and lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted.
