The Work to be undertaken is generally described as: 2020 Playground Lifecycle Replacement Program in the City of St. Albert. Includes approximately:
1. Work at three (3) sites in the City of St. Albert as specified in the Drawings section of the tender documents:
a. Site and play space design;
b. Mobilization and demobilization (including site fencing, signage, site safety, pedestrian accommodation, site restoration, etc.);
c. Removal, disposal, and replacement of sand surfacing to achieve a minimum 300mm depth and meet critical fall height requirements;
d. Removal, disposal, and replacement of existing wood curbing;
e. Removal and disposal of existing playground equipment (including swings);
f. Supply and installation of new playground equipment (including swings);
g. Removal, disposal, and replacement of park furniture (including concrete pads);
h. Protection of existing trees and naturalized areas;
i. Site restoration;
j. Maintenance during warranty period (2 years).
