The unit is intended for rural municipal use and the unit supplied must be suitable to this type of work. Errors or omissions in the specifications do not relieve the supplier of this responsibility.
The attached specifications are considered the minimum. Any additional options will be considered on their merit. The vehicle is to be priced F.O.B. Valleyview, Alberta. All pertinent warranty information is to be included with quote.
a.The Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders and to waive irregularities and informalities at its discretion. The Municipal District of Greenview reserves the right to accept a tender other than the lowest tender without stating reasons. By the act of submitting its bid, the Bidder waives any right to contest in any legal proceeding or action the right of the Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 to award the work to whomever it chooses, in its sole and unfettered discretion, and for whatever reasons the Municipality deems appropriate. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 may consider any other factor besides price and capability to perform the work that it deems in its sole discretion to be relevant to its decision including but not limited to the following:
1.Any past experience with the Bidder, or lack thereof;
2.The results of any reference check done by the Municipal District of Greenview No. 16;
3.Information relating to the financial state of the Bidder, however obtained;
4.Production rates of equipment to be utilized.
b.The information on this Tender form is being collected for the purpose of tendering expenditure under the authority of the Municipal Government Act. The information you provide may become Public information. A Tender award decision may be made after the Owner has had an opportunity to examine and evaluate all Tenders in detail with the supplier being notified shortly thereafter.
