Greenview is seeking proposals for the development of an economic development and tourism website to promote tourism and encourage business development and investment within the region. The high quality site will be focused on investment attraction and tourism opportunities to targeted audience groups. As a stand-alone site, this project will allow Greenview to promote the vast opportunities in the area, providing users with interactive, state-of-the-art tools. Integration of vibrant graphics and videos, the site will showcase the incredible diversity of Greenview’s massive landscape. Providing interactive tools and mobile options, users will experience everything Greenview has to offer from virtually anywhere in the world.

Greenview currently has a corporate website (www.mdgreenview.ab.ca) that focuses on municipal services for residents, however does not focus on tourism and economic development. The new website would be linked from the municipal website, without interruption or changes to the current site.

A placeholder website has been created at www.ExpandYourVision.ca to be used until the new site can be launched, at which time the placeholder site would be removed.

Greenview has also created a Local Intel Data Site at https://expandyourvision.ecdev.org/ with local data and information for investors and economic development stats from the municipality. These tools must be integrated into the new economic development website.

Currently, Greenview Economic Development & Tourism has a social media presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. Integrating our social media presence into the new website is crucial as we grow our digital profile.
