Description

BACKGROUND :

The description of marine traffic will have to be based on AIS (Automatic Identification System) data, the main source of information on marine traffic (merchant shipping, ferries, cruises, etc.) in this region. This project must therefore provide the raw databases, manpower, equipment, tools and services needed for statistical analysis of AIS data to produce synthesized data demonstrating various aspects the MPA marine traffic.
