Description

Kneehill County issuing a Request for Tender for the supply of one (1) Class 8 Highway Tractor with 12’ One Way Plow and Muni-Box to be delivered Free on Board (F.O.B.) to the Kneehill County Maintenance Shop (205 1st Ave, Three Hills, AB). The desired date for delivery of this unit under the contract is ASAP after January 8, 2020. The unit shall be standard production model Class 8 Highway Tractor; rear-wheel drive with a +400 horsepower diesel engine, a 12-foot one-way “highway” snow-plow, a 14-15ft Municipal Combination box; to be used in the maintenance and clearing of county roads during winter and hauling and spreading of gravel within the County roads. This specification covers only the major details of the unit. It is the Vendor’s responsibility to deliver a fully equipped unit with compatible components to provide dependable efficient service. The highway tractor shall be new only. Kneehill County will NOT accept demonstrators or previously used rental units.
