Description

Kneehill County issuing a Request for Tender for the supply of two (2) Class 8 Highway Tractors to be delivered Free on Board (F.O.B.) to the Kneehill County Maintenance Shop (205 1st Ave, Three Hills, AB). The desired date for delivery of these units under the contract is ASAP after January 2, 2019. The units shall be standard production model Class 8 Highway Tractor; rear-wheel drive with a +550 horsepower diesel engine, a 5th wheel hitch, a hydraulic wet kit; to be used in the hauling and spreading of gravel within the County roads. This specification covers only the major details of the units. It is the Vendor’s responsibility to deliver fully equipped units with compatible components to provide dependable efficient service. The highway tractors shall be new only. Kneehill County will NOT accept demonstrators or previously used rental units.
