Housing for blackbody calibration targets

Description of the need:

Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) requires the purchase of calibration targets for thermal hyperspectral imaging. The need is for black calibration targets, also known as hot targets. The contractor must manufacture, pre-assemble and deliver twenty-five (25) tiles forming a complete hot calibration target (black finish) as laid out in the technical drawings. The non-disclosure agreement available in Annex C of the Request for proposal must be signed by interested bidders before the technical drawings are released.

Deliverable 1: Intermediate Deliverable: The delivery of the sample (12'' X 12'') aluminum plate prepared according to the finishing processes described above must take place no later than twenty-two (22) calendar days after the contract is awarded.

Deliverable 2: The delivery of twenty-five (25) tiles forming a blackbody calibration target (hot) must take place no later than four (4) weeks after acceptance of the intermediate deliverable.
