Description

The City of Calgary is seeking for an experienced and qualified captioning service provider for all Council Meetings, Public Hearings, Business Plans and Budget Deliberations.

The Consultant will be expected to be flexible to ensure services are provided even if events run longer than anticipated. While The City will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible, the Consultant will be expected to respond to requests within 24 hours. Most requirements will be done remotely, but some outdoor special events may be required.

The highest rated proponent will be requested to enter an Agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables. The term of the Agreement may include a Proof of Concept, with an option in favour of The City to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an initial term of up to five (5) years.

This procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
