Alberta’s provincial parks and recreation areas conserve our natural heritage and provide popular nature-based recreation opportunities to visitors from across the province and around the world. They also play a major role in Alberta’s tourism industry, providing opportunities for small businesses and having positive impacts on the economies of many local communities.
Alberta Environment and Parks (the Province) is seeking business entities or non-profit organizations to provide park operations and maintenance services, including at campgrounds and day use areas, for David Thompson Operating Group.
The David Thompson Operating Group includes the following sites:

• Beaverdam PRA is located approximately 5 kilometers east of Nordegg Alberta on highway 11. https://www.albertaparks.ca/parks/central/beaverdam-pra/

The Facility Operating Agreement will be for a five year term commencing February 15th, 2020.
Primary services provided as part of this Agreement include:
• operation and maintenance of the premises;
• provision of excellent customer service to visitors:
• collection of approved fees from visitors for use of the premises;
• public safety and control;
• managing access to the premises; and
• contacting local authorities for enforcement needs.
