Description

Lacombe County is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified benefit consulting / brokerage firms for the provision of consulting services for its employee group benefits plan.

The contract is a three (3) year period from February 1, 2020 to January 31, 2023 with the option for a two (2) year extension at the discretion of the County.

Lacombe County is seeking a qualified firm capable of taking a creative, innovative approach to the rising costs of health care and employee benefits, while maintaining fiscal responsibility. It is the goal of the County to continue providing a comprehensive employee benefits plan at an affordable contribution rate and to maintain employee satisfaction with the benefits. This goal is aligned with our vision, mission, key principles and strategic priorities; we have a specific focus on attracting, engaging and retaining new and existing employees.

Interested parties are requested to submit responses in PDF format to mricher-poth@lacombecounty.com with the subject line â€œRFP Independent Benefits Brokerâ€�. Please do not submit proposals via facsimile as they will not be accepted. Please note that the County will not be held responsible for any transmission problems or other errors that could occur.
Closing date: 2:00pm MST on Thursday, January 2, 2020.
