Description

Ontario has introduced a new plan to manage the health system more effectively by coordinating the work of existing provincial health agencies and programs. This undertaking will involve the transition of six (6) agencies (Cancer Care Ontario, Health Quality Ontario, eHealth Ontario, Trillium Gift of Life Network, Health Shared Services Ontario, HealthForceOntario Marketing and Recruitment Agency) and fourteen (14) Local Health Integration Network under one agency called Ontario Health (OH).

As part of the transition to OH, the Foundational IT project is required to set-up minimum technologies and processes to support the onboarding of in-scope agency staff to OH. This work includes providing OH employees with new identities, email addresses, and access to OH Microsoft Office365 (O365) platform as they transition to OH. As the new centralized OH infrastructure is formed, data from legacy agencies need to be transferred to the new OH infrastructure. The current focus is to migrate data on any Microsoft O365 Products whether it’s sitting on on-premise or cloud environment.

Ontario Health is looking for a vendor who will provide a content migration product and support services to guide and coach internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to complete content migration of all Microsoft O365 content and on-premise exchange from legacy agencies to the new OH O365 infrastructure.

This partner will provide the tool to be able to complete the migration and provide training for the migration Microsoft O365 content for the following: current OH agency users, Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) users, Health Quality Ontario (HQO) users, Health Force Ontario (HFO) users, eHealth Ontario (eHO),Health Shared Services Ontario (HSSO), Local Health Integration Networks (LHIN) and Trillium Gift of Life (TGLN). The content migration product will be required to migrate all the possible data in any Microsoft Office365 related products and on-premise exchange.

Our goal is to migrate all the possible legacy data from legacy infrastructure to the new OH infrastructure. After the migration, our desired end-state should meet the requirements to decommission legacy infrastructure.

OH would like to receive a comprehensive proposal which clearly provides an overview of the product and its functionality, along with professional services required to guide the team and all associated costs to provide the services as detailed within this RFP.

The term of this engagement is anticipated to start the week of January 1, 2020 for the duration of six months to June 30, 2020.
