REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION (RFQ) for GENERAL CONTRACTING SERVICES for EDMONTON - ALBERTA RESEARCH COUNCIL 2 & 5 Degree Chiller System Replacement

In an attempt to reduce administrative burden and eliminate duplication of effort, Alberta Infrastructure will no longer notify individual proponents in writing when they are unsuccessful. Instead, vendors will be advised to view the name of the winning proponent and bid amount on the Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC) website at www.puchasingconnection.ca. Once the award is announced, vendors will continue to be encouraged to request a debrief, depending on the procurement approach from the Procurement Specialist identified on the procurement document. This information will be posted in the Long Description of the APC notice for each procurement from September 1, 2019 to September 1, 2020 to ensure everyone is aware of this procedural change.

Infrastructure will continue the practice of issuing notifications to proponents addressing matters of non-compliance.

This change will take effect on September 1, 2019.
