2019_01 SHAW - Request for Pre-Qualification - Shaw Centre Chiller Replacement

The City of Salmon Arm (CSA) and the Shuswap Recreation Society (SRS) are seeking qualified refrigeration contractors (Contractor) who are licensed to perform regulated work within the province of BC to replace the shell and tube chillers at the Shaw Centre in Salmon Arm.

1 Requirements

· The refrigeration contractor must be available to carry out the work for completion by July 2020;
· Only experienced Ammonia Tradesmen qualified under Provincial Ammonia regulations will be considered for this project;
· The application must provide the names of at least three qualified journeyman tradesmen, actively practicing in the field, and include with the RFPQ;
· Contractors bidding on this work must be experienced in the installation of ammonia refrigeration equipment in plants of similar size;
· Refrigeration bidders must be licensed in British Columbia as an Ammonia Refrigeration Contractor and are required to provide proof of their qualifications with the RFPQ;
· The RFPQ must include the names of three plate and frame chiller projects they have been involved with in the last five (5) years;
