PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Recreation Master Plan - Phase 2 is to review existing recreation facilities and programs and develop a framework, to provide strategic direction for future recreation planning.
The City of Moncton is looking to engage a consulting team to produce a comprehensive Recreation Master Plan, for facilities and programs, to include, but not limited to deliverables indicated in the RFP. The Master Plan will guide City Council and staff to evaluate the current provision of facilities and programs in Moncton compared to national standards per population base and plan a future that reflects the values and needs of the community. The Master Plan will provide a framework for the
management and development of recreation facilities and programs, infrastructure, resources and investment over the next 10 years.
