Description

ServiceOntario is the OPS’ public-facing service delivery organization with offices throughout the province, both OPS and privately operated. Offices provide a range of important public services to both individuals and businesses such as: health cards, renewal/replacement of driver’s licences, license plate services, transfers of vehicle ownership, and hunting and fishing licences. ServiceOntario also operates contact centres which are responsible for fielding inquiries from the public and providing information on behalf of a number of OPS ministries (such as Transportation, Health and Long-Term Care, Natural Resources & Forestry, Labour, Municipal Affairs and Housing, Northern Development and Mines, and Finance).
In addition, The Ministry of Transportation has 40 offices through which they provide public services including oversize carrier permits and international registration, essential in the regulation of drivers/vehicles, as well as the busing and trucking industries.

All offices make use of technology such as cameras and signature/barcode scanners, desktop computers and office printers to deliver services to the public.

The objective of this RFB is to select one Vendor that will:
• Deliver services as per service levels as defined in this Attachment;
• Provide services that will ensure the Equipment at the Service Sites are functioning;
• Ensure that the Service Sites can provide its full set of business services to the public through a stable computing environment;
• Provide Ad-hoc Services and projects to maintain the environment.

The Vendor will provide recommendations to enhance the Services with an objective to support continuous service improvement. The focus is to optimize service delivery in the most effective and efficient way.

• Break/fix repair Services;
• (b) Installation Services;
• (c) Relocation Services;
• (d) Deinstallation Services;
• (e) Renewal Services;
• (f) Warehousing Services;
• (g) Disposal Services;
• (h) Additional and Ad-hoc Services;
• (i) Reporting.
