10975 - Beach Place - Sewer and Storm Replacement

The City of Prince Rupert is seeking quotations from qualified proponents ("Proponents") in response to this request for quotation("RFQ") for the provision of Services (as defined herein) to be carried out within the required schedule set out herein for works to be performed on Beach and 2nd Sewer and Storm Replacement. Intention is to remove and replace 130m of Sewer Main, and install 130m of Storm Main. Quantities shown include entire scope of works. Portions may be added or removed accordingly.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Scope of Services
The services for this Project will comprise the following including, without limiting:

(i) Proponents are to provide all traffic controller and devices needed to accomplish the works
(ii) Excavated materials to be removed offsite (approximately 1000m3). Landfill tipping fees will be waived
(iii) Remove and discard of 130 meters of existing Sanitary main (200mm VIT)
(iv) Place and install approximately 130 meters of Sanitary pipe (200mm)
(v) Remove, supply and replace two (2) Sanitary manholes (Approx. 2m depth)
(vi) Place and install approximately 130 meters of Storm pipe (200mm)
(vii) Supply and install two (2) Storm manholes (minimum 1m depth)
(viii) Supply and Install twenty (20) Sanitary cleanouts and eighteen (18) Storm cleanouts at property line (minimum 2% grade)
(ix) Cleanouts (sanitary and storm) to be installed into existing services with little to no interruption of existing services
(x) Sanitary cleanout to be installed at existing sanitary services at property line
(xi) Storm cleanout installed in same trench as sanitary cleanout. Storm line to be capped past property line.
(xii) Supply and place approximately 1000m3 of import fill as per City and MMCD Specifications
(xiii) Maintain sanitary services for effected households during construction
(xiv) Work area to be reinstating in exact or better condition. Top 100mm of material to be made up of native soil
