REQUIREMENT: Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has a requirement to acquire a Six Row corn planter for its Research Centre in Agassiz, BC. This equipment will be used for planting corn seeds of varying size and shape. The six row planter will be used for planting wide-row (maximum row spacing = 75 cm (average 70 cm) between each of the six rows) research plots of approximately 10 to 70 m in length.

Canada intends to issue a single Contract for the purchase of one seeder.

There is no security requirement associated with this bid solicitation.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
