Line 1, CCGS Tanu - Alongside Refit

The Canadian Coast Guard of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans has a requirement for a contractor to:

a. carry out the alongside refit for the Canadian Coast Guard Ship CCGS TANU. The Work must be conducted in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Statement of Work; Inspections, Tests and Trials; and Project Management Services attached as Annexes A, D and E.; and

b. Carry out Unscheduled Work authorized by the Contracting Authority. Solicitation documents are available on the BuyAndSell.gc.ca/tenders web site. For specifications, drawings, annexes, and appendices associated with this solicitation, bidders must contact the Contracting Authority by e-mail at gregor.wulff@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca.

The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the Area of Origin of the vessel (Western Canada), in accordance with the PWGSC Supply Manual Article 3.170.10(b). This procurement is subject to CFTA and is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).

Work must commence and be completed as follows:

Complete:

15 January, 2020.

By submitting a bid, the Bidder certifies that it has sufficient material and human resources allocated or available and that the above work period is adequate to both complete the known work and absorb a reasonable amount of unscheduled work.
