Nature of Requirements:

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service of Canada has a requirement to obtain the services of a Contractor specializing in transportation service to serve a clientele consisting of several institutions from the Montréal Health Network and various Canadian Armed Forces bases and units.

Objectives: Ensure delivery and collection service of clean and dirty linens in a safe and compliant manner to meet client requests, as and when needed by CORCAN.

Deliverables: The Contractor must provide linens transportation service, on and as required by the schedule established by CORCAN, six (6) days a week including holidays, with the exception of two (2) statutory holidays—Christmas and New Year’s Day— to be provided on the weekend or no later than the day before the statutory holiday. The weekly average mileage per truck is approximately 150 km per day. Drivers must provide services in either official language (English or French) requested while delivering the servicers.

Term of Contract:

Period of the Standing Offer: The Services are to be performed during the period of December 1, 2019 to November 30, 2020 with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods.
