Description

Environment Canada has a requirement for a Contractor to update the Canadian Adjusted Rainfall and Snowfall Dataset and of the homogeneized long-term precipitation dataset.

The purpose of this contract is to update Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Adjusted Daily Rainfall and Snowfall (AdjDlyRS) dataset version 2015 (Wang et al. 2017) up to the March 31,2019, and use the updated data to update the homogeneized long-term precipitation dataset. In order to complete the update, the afore-described processing/work (see Section 2.0 above) needs to be conducted again for all stations in Canada that have daily precipitation data (including daily rainfall and snowfall data from manual stations and daily total precipitation data from automated stations) over the period from March 1, 2016 to March 31,2019. Also, the data homogenization procedure needs to be repeated.

The period of the Contract is from date of award to July 31,2020 with the option to extend for three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
