Description

The Rural Municipality of Mountain requires contract mowing equipment for the delivery of the annual weed and brush control program.

This quotation is to establish pay rates and hiring for mowing equipment used on a casual basis for the 2019 mowing season.

Please submit your lowest hourly rental rate quote, along with equipment specifications for the mowing of municipal right-of-ways. Rental rates quoted must include qualified operator and all related operation costs. In accordance with municipal policy, the Contractor must maintain commercial general liability insurance of not less than $2,000,000 per occurance.

Work will be coordinated by the Councillor for the area and all work locations will be located within the RM of Mountain. This quotation shall not be interpreted by the Contractor as an obligation on the part of the RM of Mountain to provide work, or as a representation that work is available.

Quotations will be accepted by main, email, fax or in person until 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 12th, 2019 at the RM of Mountain municipal office.

The municipality is not required to accept a bid if Council decide not to proceed with the projects, if all bids are too high, or if none meed the needs of the municipality.
