1.1Background
UOHI is undertaking a procurement initiative to secure contracts for its specialty cardiac supplies, where existing contracts expire at the end of March 2019.  UOHI is also looking to develop partnerships by asking Proponents to provide value-added solutions in addition to the stated requirements for supplies and services. Taking an outcome focused/value-based approach to the procurement, the outcomes UOHI hopes to achieve are grouped into two major themes:
