Description

Saint John Energy is requesting proposals for the supply of a one utility battery storage system
which will work within the Saint John Energy’s distribution grid for the project, with an
approximate targeted operational date mid to late 2019.

The Project is a demonstration project and following successful demonstration, additional (and
larger) installations are likely to ensue. Saint John Energy believes that participation by
credible battery suppliers during the demonstration phase (including any in-kind contributions)
will create a partnership between Saint John Energy and the chosen supplier which could lead
to more business in Saint John Energy’s service territory, including combination with future
planned renewable energy projects.
