DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Work includes inspection, cleaning, calibration, and complete operational instrument check to ensure optimum performance. This service is provided once during a twelve (12) month contract
period. All parts, labour, travel time and expenses for any additional instrumentation that may require
repair will be additionally invoiced at current service rates.
Preventive Maintenance Service calls include:
- Cleaning
- Calibration, when applicable
- Certificates, as required
- Service Label
- Balances, ovens, furnaces are to be calibrated on-site
- Pipettes are to be calibrated on-site with the option to send to the calibration lab throughout the year,
as required.
- Thermometers may be calibrated at our labs or at the calibration lab throughout the year.
- Equipment may be added or removed from the work to be performed. Pricing should be itemized per type of calibration (e.g. price per pipette, price per thermometer, price per balance, etc.)
Calibrations shall meet ISO 17025:2017 requirements. Calibration laboratory and subcontract laboratories, as a minimum, must be accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and must be accredited to
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by November 30, 2020.
