Note that in order to receive the current employee information documents, prospective suppliers will be obliged to execute a confidentiality agreement in accordance the terms of the procurement documents.

Description of Procurement
The University is conducting a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation to prospective Suppliers to submit Proposals for providing facility maintenance and operations services for Ryerson University student residences International Living/Learning Center (ILLC), Pitman Hall (PIT) and the new residence at Daphnee Cockwell Health Sciences Complex (DCC) which is scheduled to be open approximately May 1, 2019

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

Submissions must be submitted electronically at http://ryerson.bonfirehub.ca on or before 11:00 a.m. November 12th 2018.

The submissions will not be opened publicly.

The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:

Mandatory Submission Requirements
File #1 - Proposal Acknowledgement Form

Each Proponent shall complete, sign and submit a Proposal Acknowledgement Form. The Proposal Acknowledgement Form forms part of the Proposal.

Scored Submission Requirements
Ryerson will shortlist the top 3 proponents with a minimum passing score of 70% or better to the presentation stage.
The Minimum Passing Score for the presentation evaluation is 60%.
Applicable Trade Agreements
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):

The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, Chapter 19
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9

Contract Details
The term of the Final Agreement is two (2) years, plus three (3) optional renewal periods of one (1) year each, in the discretion of Ryerson.

Event Note

To gain a better understanding of the existing site conditions and constraints,
all proponents must attend the schedule site visit, scheduled for the 23rd of October at 11:30 AM. Proponents should plan to meet on the
ground floor lobby of 285 Victoria Street. Toronto, Ontario. This site visit is not mandatory.

Proponents will be asked to sign in with Ryerson’s Procurement Officer.

NOTE: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to attend this site tour. Proponents must have: safety shoes, hard hats and safety vests. Ryerson has limited quantities available that can be provided. Proponents must email the Ryerson Contact at least 24 hours in advance and indicate which items and quantities are required.
