19-020 OCDSB - Building Envelope Engineering Consultant

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for building envelope structural engineering consultant , as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 
 
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. We are the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. Our students are based out of 143 schools - 113 elementary including two special education sites, 25 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate sites.
 
MERX is the official and sole distributor of this Request for Proposal and any addenda.  Copies of this RFP are available at www.merx.com.  If a proponent obtains this document by means other than through MERX, the accuracy of the document and receipt of any addenda is the sole responsibility of the proponent.  The District relies on the electronic MERX advertisement to provide public notice of this business opportunity and is not obligated to notify past or present suppliers in any other manner.
 
It is the District’s intention to enter into an Agreement with two (2) legal entities.  The term of the agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the District to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to three (3) one (1) year terms.  The contract is expected to commence upon award and the contract expiration date is 31 August 2019.
