Request for Tender No. 01318-06021-T01 Supply and Delivery of Two (2) Agricultural Tractors 4WD 135 HP with Attachments.

Requirement:
The City of Ottawa has a requirement for Supply and Delivery of Two (2) Agricultural Tractors 4WD 135 HP with Attachments. The Vehicle(s) required will be delivered in a fully operational condition, and ready for its intended immediate use all in accordance with the Specifications, Terms and Conditions of this RFT.

Inquiry Period:
All inquiries regarding this RFT are to be directed to the Contracting Authority specified herein. Inquiries must be received in writing not later than Wednesday 22 August 2018. Both the questions and answers will be distributed to all potential bidders by way of written addendum, without identifying the source(s) of the inquiry. The City is not obligated to respond to an inquiry or question received after this time period has elapsed. The bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any response or interpretation received from the City unless that response or interpretation is provided by the Contracting Authority by way of addendum.

Closing Date:
All tender submissions must be received no later than 3:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, 30 August 2018. Late tender submissions will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Tenders submitted by email or facsimile will not be accepted. Offers received after this date and time will not be considered, and will be returned, unopened, to the Bidder.

1.Submission of Tenders

Bidders must:
1.1 Submit their bids on the Form of Tender found in Part D of the Request for Tender (“RFT”). Bids submitted in a form other than the Form of Tender found in Part D will not be accepted and will be deemed non-compliant. Bids must be signed by an authorized official of the bidder and be received in a sealed envelope that clearly identifies its contents;
1.2 Submit one (1) original paper copy (marked “Master Copy”) of their bid that is signed and dated by an authorized official of the bidder, in a sealed envelope and clearly identified on the outside as to its contents.
Submit one (1) electronic copy of their bid (on either CDR disk or a secure USB Flash memory and each PDF file should not exceed 15 MB) and any literature provided in the “Master Copy” submission.
The paper copy bid submission identified as “Master Copy” shall take precedence should there be any discrepancy with the electronic copy.
