Description

On behalf of the City of Calgary, City of Lethbridge, City of Medicine Hat, Alberta SouthWest Regional Economic Development Alliance and SouthGrow Regional Initiative, the Community Energy Association is requesting proposals for the installation, ownership, operation and maintenance of co-sited Direct Current Fast Charger (DCFC – a station with the ability to charge an electric vehicle battery to 80 per cent capacity in approximately 30 minutes) and Level 2 (charge an electric vehicle battery in 8-10 hours)1 ‘Peaks to Prairies’ Electric Vehicle (EV) Network across southern Alberta. The project emphasizes the demonstration of a clean energy network, and therefore requires that stations be powered by renewable energy, through either on-site generation, renewable energy certificates, or a combination thereof.

Any lobbying or communication related to this RFP with staff or elected officials of the partners will result in disqualification. Funders and partners to this RFP are not eligible to submit a proposal in response to this RFP.

Proponents must complete and submit the "Intent to Submit" form, Appendix A in order to be informed of updates and communications through the RFP process. Appendix A should be sent to info@communityenergy.bc.ca before August 10th.

Proposals must be submitted in MS Word or PDF format, in addition to the completed Pricing Form (Excel template attached to this RFP) to: info@communityenergy.bc.ca by August 24th, 2018.

Supplemental documents may be attached in PDF format, and where file size exceeds 10 MB, multiple emails may be used, with the same subject line.
