Description:
The intent of this RFP is to solicit Proposals for one (1) School bus and one (1) Mini bus from bus suppliers/manufacturers that have the expertise and capacity to supply two (2) buses that meet the requirements of the RFP. The buses will be used primarily to provide campus shuttle services on and off campus on a specified route.

York’s expectation of the Selected Proponent includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Supply and delivery of one (1) School bus and one (1) Mini bus, wheelchair accessible and either hybrid diesel or diesel or gasoline
Provide a warranty
Maintain a spare parts inventory for a twelve (12) year minimum period
Based on the Proposals and costs received York will determine whether or not hybrids will be procured.Selection of any option will be contingent on the availability of funds, and the overall best value to York.

York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.
