Introduction:
PMG Technologies is operating the Transport Canada Motor Vehicle Test Centre (MVTC) located in Blainville, Quebec. PMG Technologies is planning the following sole source purchase for Transport Canada.

Required equipment:
As part of the Autonomous Emergency Braking System test program, Transport Canada is currently in the process of acquiring equipment to conduct tests that require the precise control of the steering of a vehicle. The test equipment required consists of:

1 SR60 Torus Steering Robot (mechanicals + storage case)
Path following starter pack software
PF Vehicle dynamics add-on
PF Durability add-on
PF ADAS testing add-on

and any other options required to allow full synchronization to a GST and/or SPT and path following of a test vehicle equipped with a Combined Brake and Accelerator Robot (CBAR600).
A complete description will be provided upon request.
Note: In order to expedite the process and provide a reasonable lead time to the contractor, this call for tenders is being issued in advance of final funding confirmation. This call will be cancelled in the event that funding is not granted. PMG and Transport Canada assume no responsibility for any costs incurred by a bidder in response to this call for tenders. All costs incurred by a bidder in response to this call for tenders remain the sole responsibility of the bidder.
