Edmonton Regional Airports Authority (“Edmonton Airports”) is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the the supply and installation of communication conduits and fiber cables by direct bury; supply and installation of communication manholes; removal and reinstallation of HDPE pipe for use; installation of communication cables as shown on the drawings; installation of a communication connections in the Fire Hall and Baggag Inspeciton Facility (BIF) Buildings; completion of all communication connections required for the project; electrical connection to the existing power panel at the BIF; testing and commissioning of the new services; and supply and installation of all other associated materials required for the complete installation.

The project scope will be completed between two airside facilities (Fire Hall and BIF), therefore the contractor will be required to coordinate all escorts as per the contract requirements.

The term of the contract between Edmonton Airports and the successful contractor will be as follows:

Commencing July 3rd, 2018 with substantial completion by August 13th, 2018, and final completion by August 31st, 2018.

Bidders must subscribe to ComplyWorks and meet the specific standards for safety, insurances and other criteria set by Edmonton Airports.

From Departures Level 2, take the escalator leading up to Mezzanine Level (escalator is near Door 28 and on the north side of Hudson News), walk west, across the pedway towards the back windows looking out to the airside. An Edmonton Airports representative will meet bidders to facilitate access to the boardroom.

Companies who do not attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be excluded from bidding on this project.
